Bad Durkhiem 2007

Ah ha! I have gone high tech...well, not really, but I finally figured out how to use the embedded slide show(yeah). That means you don't have to go to a different website to see pictures:)...as most of you know, I was a bit resistant to the computer age, and thus, am a still excited by the little things I am learning to do.

Above are some pictures taken at Bad Durkhiem back in September. This is one of the largest wine festivals in Europe. It was basically a giant carnival, with rides and food, but it was a fun cultural experience. And the train ride there offered beautiful views of the Germany country side. Those pint glasses you see...yes, they are filled with wine! Only in Germany would wine be served by the pint.
